Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari WSO, situs ini tambah berat setelah akhir-akhir ini keseringan nambah plugin. Maklumlah, lagi seneng-senengnya memanfaatkan plugin Oneclick Installer, jadi begitu kepikiran nambah fungsi baru di website ini, langsung aja deh gugling kemana-mana nyari plugin yang cucok dengan keperluan. Gimana nggak ketagihan coba, tiap plugin yang tadinya kalo mau install harus pake acara akses FTP segala, sekarang jadi lebih gampang karena tinggal uplot dari kompie atau malah tinggal masukin url dari situs aslinya. Dan… tada! Dalam beberapa detik si plugin sudah terinstall dengan sukses. Tapi ternyata efeknya… Berikut analisisnya:

Cuma ternyata memang ada dampak negatifnya berhedon-hedon-ria dengan plugin, semakin banyak yang di install, semakin lambat pula si wordpress, yang harusnya ringan (dibanding joomla ato drupal, in my opinion). So, begitu analisisnya keluar, langsung deh dibenahin di sana sini. Jumlah image yang begitu banyak dikurangin, salahsatunya dengan cara mereduksi fungsi dari plugin sociable (shortcut untuk membookmark konten). Form builder juga terpaksa di nonaktifkan demi mengurangi byte dari si halaman. Trus reduksi lainnya adalah jumlah post yang di tampilkan per halaman direduksi dari 10 jadi 5, tapi untuk Feednya dibiarkan tetap. Setelah pembenahan sana sini, hasilnya… tetap mengkhawatirkan.

Ya… sudah lah… ternyata memang sulit ngedandanin website tanpa memperberat waktu loadingnya. Paling cuma bisa ngereduksi sedikiiiiiit… ::bete::

Btw, pake plugin counterize II aku kebantu banget untuk ngeliat statistik situs ini… fasilitasnya mirip Histats yang menyimpan rekaman url pengakses, statistik perhalaman dengan grafik. Jumlah pengunjung persatuan waktu, kecenderungan akses, pencarian kata via search engine dll. Sedikit aku share hasilnya:

Oiya, kalo dilihat, salah satu kontributor datangnya pengunjung situs ini selain search engine adalah aggregatornya IMB, dan perbedaan angkanya signifikan dibanding 4 besar referer yang lain. Nggak menghasilkan apa-apa sih, cuma sedang belajar memanfaatkan fasilitas yang udah ada disitus aja untuk melihat dan menganalisis performa situs/blog sendiri. Siapa tau ntar berguna buat jadi web administrator yang handal hahahahaha… ::geer

          @mas Darkum:Saya sih nggak terlalu khawatir kalo ternyata harus ganti versi, soalnya saya pake plugin automatic upgrade (WPAUG) yang membantu banget selama proses upgrade version dan juga dalam pengelolaan plugin. Begitu ada udate terbaru dari plugin tsb, dengan beberapa klik saya bisa langsung mengganti versi pluginnya.
